The cider is better on tap. Get the tour it's worth it. We got the elote hushpuppies and the fries for an appetizer. The sauces with the fries were good, but the sauce with the hushpuppies overpowered the hushpuppies themselves. We got the cuban and the cheeseburger. Both were good. The dessert was a letdown. The cookie was definitely a bit too hard for our liking.
The cider I drank was easily the best tasting I've ever had. The interior is pleasant, and small enough to feel cozy.
As for the prices... I received a free drink ticket via Keep Indianapolis Beautiful. Otherwise, I'm not paying that much on food or drink anywhere.
The decorations and setup were nice. However, the dining experience, including the food and pomegranate juice, left something to be desired. Also, it would probably be best if they used real bowls to serve the biscuits and gravy. When the parchment paper got too saturated, some of the paper got into my food. The customer service was alright. * Edit: Our actual waiter was nice, and explained the menu.*
Its worth noting that someone came in with a dog, and this lady, who could've been the manager offered the dog some water, but they didn't seem as welcoming or as considerate to our needs . Depending on who you are, the dogs might get better customer service than you. 🤦🏾♀️😒
Cider was good. Food was average. Service was below average. We tried several different ciders and enjoyed most of them. For the food, appetizers were good, mains were lacking. The beef was overly charred on the bulgogi bowl and the salad was overly saturated with dressing. Gratuity was auto added at 20% for 2 adults and 4 young kids. The waitress only came to the table 4 times start to finish throughout a 75 minute meal, over $200 in food and beverage before tip I would have expected reasonable service. The gratuity was also auto added on top of $75 of cider that we bought to-go. I don’t think grabbing cider from the case was worth $15… we were not made aware of this as a print out of the bill wasn’t provided until after we paid. Purchase to-go separately to make sure this does not happen to you! I would not return for food, but I would go back for cider.
Good selection of ciders and cider cocktails. Decent selection of food, They're also vegan and gluten free options. Service was a bit slow, but I think they were busier than they were expecting to be.
Of course the cider here is excellent! The staff will offer sample sizes when trying to decide which cider to purchase, and the flavors change from season to season which is awesome for variety. They do their sweet cider so well that my friend who only drinks Mike's hard lemonade loves it. I also love purchasing their ciders to-go as my guests and myself enjoy them so much at-home.
I've had their food about 3 times in-restaurant now, and I haven't had a miss a single time. They actually have good soup-of-the-day flavors, and they use great ingredients in their food. The inside of the restaurant is nicely spaced out and not too loud, which is great for individuals who have sensory issues! The staff are so nice and funny, and they always make me smile when I'm there. I highly recommend!
The cider is the winner here. The food was just okay. It’s a fancier dining menu, I ordered the Bodega on gluten free bread, I was expecting chicken breast not pulled chicken. Also, for some reason it didn’t come with the lettuce or tomato, only the pickled veggies which I asked to be left off, so that was disappointing. The fries and appetizers were decent, but everything just seemed really salty to my whole table. I would recommend eating beforehand, and then coming here for the atmosphere and drinks.
Fun place with elevated food and house made hard ciders. We were very impressed by the appetizers, particularly the deviled eggs, the pork tortilla wraps, and elote fritters. The fries were good, and the mustard dipping sauce was amazing. Unfortunately the entrees didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The walleye was very good, nicely presented, but seemed a bit under seasoned or like something was missing. Still enjoyable. The duck gnocchi was well presented, the duck was well prepared, but was overwhelmingly salty - beyond the point where it could be enjoyed. Three people in our party ordered that same dish and all felt the same.
